A volunteer-led initiative focused on building practical systems for responsible waste handling during Ramadan.

Built on Systems, Not Slogans

EcoRamadan began in 2025 after noticing a simple issue: thousands of clean plastic bottles were being discarded nightly during Ramadan prayers with no recovery system in place.

The goal was never to run a campaign. It was to test whether a respectful, structured system could work at scale — starting small, measuring results, and improving responsibly.
