Commitment Overview

9:30pm – 10:30pm

After completing 8 rakaats of Taraweeh.
Location
On-site near designated bottle collection stations.
Volunteer Roles in Action
Guide & Educate
Politely remind attendees to empty bottles and direct them to the correct bins. Most people are willing — they just need guidance.
Prevent Contamination
Ensure bottles are not mixed with food waste or liquids. Clean sorting is what makes recovery possible.
Consolidate & Store
Transfer collected bottles into larger bags for proper storage and later collection.
Work in Small Teams
Each shift runs with a small group. The work is simple, structured, and collaborative.
Common Questions
Do I need experience?
No prior experience is required. You’ll be guided on site.
Can I volunteer for one night only?
Yes. Even a single shift contributes meaningfully to the system.
Is it physically demanding?
The role involves standing and light lifting. Nothing intensive.
